Growing up with a sister with autism and other global developmental delays has shaped my perspective as an artist. Experiencing life with Lindsey has taught me valuable lessons in compassion towards those who are differently abled and the undeniable beauty that these souls radiate. One of my goals as a photographer is to show representation towards people like my sister who have not been able to see themselves highlighted in mainstream media. I believe in the power of imagery to shape societal norms and perceptions. By showcasing models with various disabilities in my photography, I hope to challenge the narrow and often ableist beauty standards that are prevalent in this industry.
